Overview

Allyvo LLC (“Allyvo”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use our AI-native job search platform.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Account information — email address, name
  • Resume content — uploaded as PDF, DOCX, or TXT files, or pasted as plain text
  • Profile data — headline, about section, work experience, education, skills, certifications
  • Job application data — companies, positions, statuses, dates, notes
  • Interview details — interview types, dates, outcomes, interviewer names, notes
  • Job search preferences — target roles, experience level, work arrangement, location
  • Chat conversations — messages exchanged with the AI assistant, including feedback submissions
  • Generated documents — resumes and cover letters created through AI operations
  • Billing information — credit pack purchases processed through Stripe (we store transaction records and Stripe customer IDs; we never store card numbers)

Information Collected Automatically

  • Authentication session data — managed via secure HttpOnly cookies through Supabase
  • Activity logs — feature usage events, retained for 30 days
  • AI usage records — operation type, token counts, and cost per request
  • Job search queries — search terms and filters used, including AI-suggested search terms

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the Allyvo service
  • To perform AI-powered analysis across your job search (see AI Processing below)
  • To personalize your job search experience
  • To process credit purchases and maintain billing records
  • To communicate service updates and important notices

AI Processing

Allyvo uses Anthropic’s Claude API to power its core functionality. Your data is sent to Anthropic for processing when you use AI features, which include: parsing your resume, analyzing job postings, scoring how well a job matches your profile, generating cover letters and resumes, powering the chat assistant, and providing profile and career suggestions.

We do not use your data to train AI models. Anthropic’s API usage policy also prohibits using API inputs and outputs for model training.

Data Storage and Security

  • Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase
  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
  • Row-level security policies enforce per-user data isolation
  • Authentication uses secure HttpOnly cookies

Retention periods

  • Chat messages: ~180 days (older messages are summarized, then removed)
  • Chat summaries: ~2 years
  • Activity logs: ~30 days
  • Financial records (credit transactions, purchase history): retained as required by law
  • AI usage records: retained for billing accuracy and dispute resolution

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data at any time through the platform
  • Export all your data as a JSON file from your account settings
  • Delete your account from your account settings (requires email confirmation). Personal data is anonymized and non-financial data is deleted. Financial records (credit transactions, purchase history) are retained for legal compliance. Your Stripe customer record and Supabase authentication identity are also removed. Aggregated, non-identifiable metrics are retained for product analytics.
  • Correct any inaccurate information in your profile

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Data is shared with third-party services only as described below, solely to provide the Service.
